Shakti peeth is locally known as Baurbhag Kali temple or Falizur Kali bari.ī) 65 K.m to the east of Shilong hills on NH 44 is Jowai, the district HQ of Jayantiya. The idol of Kali is very big and we have to go down to have full view. Best time to visit the temple is either early morning or late afternoon. The temple is called Matabari, and the goddess Tripura sundari (Ma Kali/ Soroshi). Tripura Shaktipeeth is situated at a distance of 3 K.m going towards south from Udaipur town.
